The Zen House is celebrating, its 10th anniversary. Come celebrate Friday, July 27 and Saturday, 28, say hello and get acquainted (or reacquainted.) On Friday you can take a discounted Dyno Run. Sign-ups are required and easy to do. Email the Zen House at motorcycles@thezenhouse.net or call them at (707) 882-2281. The runs are offered between 2:00pm and 3:00pm, and again between 4:00pm and 5:00pm. As I said, signups are required.
Another afternoon option is to sign up to take a Back-Roads Ride with Will Guyan. Once again, you must sign-up in advance. A call or email to Kelley at the same contact numbers (above) will get you more details.
At 5:00pm the energy moves up the block to 215 Main, just across Highway One from The Zen House. It’s another chance to celebrate with the opening of the “Zen is Ten” art show. You can view art celebrating motorcycles, The Zen House and the Robert Pirsig book (Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance), while enjoying tasty treats prepared by the incomparable Barbara Burkey of Franny's Cup and Saucer. Live music with Swing Noodle follows the art opening.
