One week later, Monday, July 9, we're treated to Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery (USA, 1997). This Powers film was directed by Jay Roach, is rated PG-13 and has a runtime of 89 minutes.

     In this spoof of '60s super-spies, a world-class playboy and part-time special agent, Powers (Mike Myers) is defrosted after 30 years in a cryogenic freeze to match wits with his nemesis, Dr. Evil (also played by Myers). Possessing antiquated spy skills and mod mannerisms from the '60s, Austin must confront a villain like no other while making peace with his own out-of-date, swinging sexuality. The supporting cast includes Elizabeth Hurley, Michael York, Seth Green, and Robert Wagner.
